I'm trying something new for the next 6-7 months. If it works, I'll continue, but if I end up not liking it, I'll stop it in September or October.

I will be posting the chapters of my current book (Lady Wynwood’s Spies, volume 7) so you can read ahead of when the ebook will be edited and published. My current plan is to post 1-2 chapters weekly.

One reason I’m switching things up is that I want to get closer to my readers and build a tighter, more intimate community with you. You can comment on each chapter of my book, give a reaction, ask a question, or even correct mistakes. My books will become a dialogue with you.

Thank you so much that we can come to you for help and rest. Help us to learn from you so that all we do is for you. Thank you for helping us with our burdens and that you ask so little in return. In you we can truly find rest in the midst of troubles and worries.

What’s up with Camy

Last week I finished my Christian Contemporary Romantic Suspense novel, Sushi and Suspicions, which will release in June in the Summer Suspicions multi-author box set. (If you like contemporary romantic suspense too, you can preorder it for only 99 cents here.)

It was hard to finish the book because my IBS flared up and I really don’t know why. Since this was a box set with other authors, I absolutely had to finish the manuscript on time, whereas if I were publishing it myself, I wouldn’t have set a deadline because of my unpredictable IBS symptoms.

I’m very glad it’s done, though! I would normally celebrate with a peach jelly from my favorite Japanese confectionery store, but since I’m not feeling so hot at the moment, I’ll eat it later when I feel better. (I’ll post pictures when I do—that peach jelly is amazing!)

At the moment, I’m working on fixing my outline for Lady Wynwood’s Spies, volume 7: Spinster. I was following my original outline, but I wasn’t happy with the pacing of the book, so I decided to rework everything. I’m rearranging some scenes and cutting others out so that the story flows a bit faster.

I also outlined my short story, “Bidding on Treason,” which is going to be an exclusive launch bonus when my Patreon goes live in 2 weeks—everyone who subscribes will get this free short story, but only until the end of May. After that, it’s gone.
